To aid business development, Nodaway County Economic Development (NCED), a not-for-profit corporation which is a public/private partnership approaches economic development as a team; which means listening to business, identifying needs, matching resources and following through to encourage capital investment, job creation and innovative business development.

Nodaway County Economic Development (NCED), founded in 1989 is a 501-c-3 not-for-profit organization offering highly confidential, no cost service. We can do so thanks to the generous support of investors and contracts with the City of Maryville, Nodaway County and the Maryville Industrial Development Corporation

What's our goal?

Positively affect job creation and capital investment in the Nodaway County community.

Who does the work?

Featuring award recognized marketing skills, financial expertise and personal business experience, the staff at NCED strives to meet and exceed business expectations. This team is backed by a nine member Board of Directors and resource partners from local, state and federal agencies. Working collaboratively and cooperatively, the economic development team creates a support network with a plethora of tools to encourage business success.
