The MTC investment was made through its High-Tech Industrial Expansion program that is geared toward industrial expansion and the creation of high-paying jobs by leveraging Missouri’s existing strength in agricultural production.

Nodaway County Economic Development was recently honored with the “Missouri Economic Development Council 2011 Award of Excellence” in their Event Marketing Category for their marketing expertise.   The award was presented earlier this year at the MEDC winter conference held in mid-February. The proposed project seeks to improve the corridor along West Fourth Street from Main Street west to the University entrance near North Dunn Street. Improvements to the Fourth Street corridor are referenced in the City of Maryville’s recently adopted Downtown Strategic Plan and the upcoming Comprehensive Plan.
