Nodaway County Economic Development was recently honored with the “Missouri Economic Development Council 2011 Award of Excellence” in their Event Marketing Category for their marketing expertise.   The award was presented earlier this year at the MEDC winter conference held in mid-February. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Greg McDanel, City Manager (660.562.8001) Fourth Street Improvement Project Partnership on Design Maryville, MO – The City of Maryville and Northwest Missouri State University are proud to announce a joint partnership to begin engineering design on the Fourth Street Improvement Project. The proposed project seeks to improve the corridor along West Fourth Street from Main Street west to the University entrance near North Dunn Street. Improvements to the Fourth Street corridor are referenced in the City of Maryville’s recently adopted Downtown Strategic Plan and the upcoming Comprehensive Plan.
